Dealer FAQ
Do I have to be a franchise dealer to sell to Kamocars?
No. Franchise dealers, independents, used-car lots, wholesalers, leasing companies and remarketers all sell to us. We buy from anyone with legal title.
Is there a minimum number of units?
No minimum. We'll bid on a single trade the same day, and we run a dedicated lot program for 5+ units with a bulk quote inside 24 hours.
How is your bid different from a Manheim or ADESA run?
You skip the buy fee, sell fee, transport risk and no-sale relist cycle. Our number is net to you, funds hit the day of pickup, and on trucks and SUVs our US wholesale channel typically clears above Canadian auction averages.
Do you buy units with liens or off-lease grounding paperwork?
Yes. We pay lienholders directly and handle grounding with the major captives (Ford Credit, GM Financial, Toyota Financial, Honda Financial, TD Auto, Scotia, RBC, BMO, CIBC).
How fast do you pay?
Funds are wired the same day units are picked up and VIN-verified. One payment per lot with an itemized statement, or per unit on singles.
Do units need to be safetied or reconditioned?
No. We buy as-is at wholesale. Disclose what you know on the VIN sheet — the bid reflects that and we don't chip at pickup on disclosed items.
Do you buy outside Alberta?
Yes, anywhere in Canada. Alberta lots are picked up directly by our team; the rest move on our contracted transporters, included in the offer.
Do you buy salvage or rebuilt-title vehicles?
No. Kamocars only buys clean-title units. We do not purchase salvage, rebuilt, non-repairable or branded-title vehicles under any circumstance — please leave those off the VIN list.
Are you a broker?
No. Kamocars is the buyer of record. You deal with one person, one bill of sale, one payment — no wholesaler-of-a-wholesaler games.
